Boeing has said it plans to relocate its global headquarters to Arlington, Virginia, from Chicago, officials said, a change that will bring the aerospace giant’s leadership closer to senior federal officials after a difficult time for the aircraft maker.
The announcement, confirmed by an earlier report in The Wall Street Journal, comes as the future of many of Boeing’s jets and military programs depends on regulators, Pentagon staff and lawmakers after a turbulent three years for the company.
