Toronto police are looking for two suspects after a man was stabbed twice and his cell phone stolen at Main Street station last month.
The incident happened at TTC Line 2 in the area of Main Street and Danforth Avenue on the evening of April 16.
Police said it began with a dispute between a man and two suspects at the station.
When they left the station, it escalated into a physical altercation, police said, as a result of which the man was stabbed by one of the suspects.
Police added that the suspects also took the man’s phone.
The suspects then returned to the station and were followed by the victim.
Police said the victim was stabbed again before the suspects fled the area.
Security images of the two suspects were released on Wednesday, with police asking the public for help in identifying them.
Both suspects are men in their early 20s, police said. One was wearing a black winter jacket, a black hooded sweatshirt, red pants and black shoes.
The other suspect was wearing a black winter vest, a red long-sleeved shirt, black pants and red shoes.
According to police, the two are considered violent and dangerous. Anyone with information is asked to contact the police at 416-808-5500 or anonymously at Crime Stoppers at 416-222-TIPS (8477).
