The United States has provided Ukraine with live intelligence that helped it find and kill 12 Russian generals, senior US officials said.
The Pentagon’s cooperation with Kyiv is much deeper than previously thought, with US agents sharing real-time information about Russian military positions, according to anonymous sources. New York Times.
Among the Russian generals killed in Ukraine are Major General Andrei Sukhovetsky, a veteran of the 2014 annexation of Crimea who was shot dead by a sniper at Hostomel Airport, and Lieutenant General Yakov Rezantsev, who boasted that the war would end in a few hours before he was killed in an air strike near Kherson.
