General Jack Keane predicts how the Russia-Ukraine war will end

Fox News senior strategic analyst General Jack Keane looked ahead to the end of the Russia-Ukraine war on Thursday in a special report.

GEN. Keane: There is a change in policy [from the United States]. Initially, the first few weeks [there was] limited support for Ukrainians in terms of weapons and ammunition, very specific. … And based on the very good sources I had, the Biden administration was pressuring Zelensky to make a deal, to reach an agreement. Zelenski and his troops did extremely well. As a result, the Biden administration began to focus on helping Zelensky defeat the Russians in Ukraine – in fact, using the word “to win.” And then [it] made every effort to take ammunition and supplies, not only from United States warehouses, but organized 40 other countries to do almost the same. So the policy, yes, it has changed.

I think [the Russians] we must realize that the actual occupation of a significant part of the territory in Ukraine is unlikely to happen. The Ukrainians, they have the opportunity to drive out the Russians here. They will need significant support, according to my calculations, only with artillery. Because the Russians – the only thing they do well is artillery. And what kills artillery is artillery. We will have to send them a lot to be able to do this – much more than we have already sent to any other nation. There is a possibility there. But at the end of the day there will probably be a stalemate, hopefully the Ukrainians will regain most of their territory. There is an opportunity for them to do so.
