Chuck Todd continues to shuffle on MSNBC. Less than two years after its daily version of Meet the Press was moved from 17:00 ET in the early afternoon, the network announced that MTP Daily is moving to NBC News’ streaming service and will now be called Meet the Press NOW. “NBC News is the leader in news streaming. “Since launch, we have committed ourselves to providing the best of NBC News journalism, for free, to streaming audiences everywhere,” NBC News President Noah Oppenheim said in a statement Friday morning. “Chuck was one of the first broadcasters to see the huge potential of streaming, and the transfer of the daily franchise of Meet the Press to NBC News is NOW consolidating the platform’s status as a streaming news destination.” Todd’s new online program will debut in June. and will be broadcast live at 16:00 ET. Longtime NBC News presenter Chris Jansing will take over Todd’s time interval at 13:00 ET on MSNBC. This latest change in programming comes shortly after White House spokeswoman Jen Psaki, who is said to be looking for a concert with MSNBC, officially announced she was leaving the Biden administration.
