Patrick Stewart says he can play Charles Xavier again after Dr. Strange in the Multiverse of Madness. The star sat down with Variety after his big cameo in the latest Marvel Studios movie. From the moment the Super Bowl trailer was released, fans were thrilled to see it back on the chair. (Imagine their surprise when the hints that the chair in question would be similar to the iconic X-Men series began to disappear!) Stewart says he would be open to it, but gives nothing else. . For reasons we can’t break here, the future of the X-Men is a bit uncertain in the MCU. Every fan of these films is excited to see how the mutants make their spectacular entrance. But nothing has been announced by Marvel yet, except X-Men ’97, which is an animated series that continues the stories of the original animated film.
Stewart said, “Charles Xavier? Yes. There could be. You know, the whole X-Men comic book series is so huge, so vast, that there may be a chance to come back. We will see.”
In a previous conversation with Rolling Stone, he tried to put the brakes on fans who insisted that the mutants would enter Multiverse of Madness. This is a very delicate area … All I can tell you is that we will have to see, he thought. “But keep in mind that Professor Xavier has already died twice. I think he must have some sort of Superman quality.”
Earlier, Stewart spoke with Jake Hamilton about this massive trailer, which is directed to the second film of Dr. Strange. The actor tried to avoid questions about his involvement. But it’s hard to deny that you’re in a movie when your voice is so clear. Actor Xavier began: “Professor X would be extremely cautious and vigilant, and he might feel a little insecure because there is something potentially dangerous about this man. I think that would make Professor Xavier alert.
“I didn’t really recognize my own voice. It sounded different. I don’t know if I had a cold or something like that at the time, “the X-Men star said before adding. “I was amazed – and all they saw was the back of my shoulder, and I think my eardrum, nothing else – that there would be so many connections. But I liked that [to see the reactions]”
