A man from Central Pennsylvania died two days after a crash of two vehicles

An 82-year-old man involved in a two-vehicle crash on Wednesday died Friday night, officials said.

Joseph Weibel of Chambersburg was transported by helicopter to WellSpan York Hospital, where he was treated. Wibble died Friday night from his injuries, York County Coroner’s Office said Saturday.

The crash occurred in Franklin County around 3:44 p.m. in the 243 Black Gap Road area of ​​Fayetteville.

Wible was the only passenger in his Chevy Cruz. He turned left to travel south.

A dump truck driver, who was motionless, waiting to turn left into the north lane to enter a quarry, and Wible collided with each other.

The condition of the driver of the dump truck is unknown, officials said. Pennsylvania State Police in Chambersburg are investigating the crash.
