AirPods Pro, Max is updated this fall

The current AirPods Pro have been on the shelves for so long that they actually preceded Apple’s M1 processor. But a new report says the long wait may be over soon.

According to Mark German’s latest Power On newsletter, AirPods Pro will finally arrive “in the fall.” He notes that since almost three years have passed since the arrival of the current model, “batteries are probably already in trouble for some early users.” Apple does not say how long AirPods are expected to last on battery life, although rechargeable lithium-ion batteries are non-replaceable and have a total life of about two to three years.

Rumor has it that the second generation AirPods Pro will be a massive upgrade, with a new stemless design, longer battery life and fitness tracking. In addition, reports say that the AirPods Pro may be Apple’s first Bluetooth headset to support lossless streaming via Apple Music.

Along with the new AirPods Pro, Apple may also be preparing for the release of a second-generation AirPods Max in-ear headset, which launches in December 2020. Gourmet says Apple is planning new colors, but does not say whether the expensive boxes will acquire any new ones. functions. Sony plans to release a new pair of headphones WH-1000XM5 with AirPods Max-style design and 30 hours of battery life, 10 hours more than promised by Apple, which may encourage the latter to improve its supply.

The new AirPods are expected to arrive at the iPhone event in September, although the third-generation AirPods launched at the Unleashed event for the Mac last fall.
