Travis Scott performs in Miami for the first public concert six months after the Astroworld tragedy

Travis Scott made his public appearance for the first time in more than six months early Sunday as he took the stage at the Miami E11EVEN club during the city’s Grand Prix weekend celebrations.

The 31-year-old Houston native appeared on stage around 3 am local time, TMZ reported, initially heading to the DJ booth before telling clubgoers that people “better lose their minds” because of the upcoming his return.

The Grammy-nominated artist, whose real name is Jacques Webster, appeared on stage and performed a 45-minute set that included Sicko Mode, Antidote, Pick Up the Phone and Goosebumps.

According to Six, Scott threw money at the crowd and said, “Everyone owes me a shot … every stripper should be on the fucking stage right now. We need every bottle reported on this damn floor.

Scott, who is the father of two with his girlfriend Kylie Jenner, 24, joined the stage from Migos artist Cuavo, 31, and the couple performed the song Dubai S ***.

At the event – where the cost of the tables ranged from $ 5,000 to $ 100,000 – concertgoers “sang every word of his songs,” an eyewitness told Page Six.

The place was full of celebrities, as attendees at Scott’s high-ranking return included Tyga, Teyana Taylor, Karrueche Tran, will.i.am, Logan Paul, Busta Rhymes, Future and Travis Kelce, among others, TMZ reported.

Scott has previously attended private events in Southern California, amid the Oscars and Coachella, following the Astroworld tragedy.

Last month, Spanish promoter Primavera Sound said Scott would appear at three South American music festivals this fall, including Primavera Sound Sao Paolo on November 6, Primavera Sound Buenos Aires on November 12 and Primavera Sound Santiago de Chile on November 13.

A total of 10 people died as a result of injuries sustained in the crowd at a festival on November 5 at NRG Park in Houston, with victims ranging in age from nine to 27.

Authorities said 25 people were hospitalized after the disaster, with about 300 people being treated for injuries at the festival site. Houston and FBI police are continuing to investigate the incident.
