A woman was “stabbed in the face” after an incident in an apartment block in West Belfast
Police were present at an incident in the Falls Road area around 1.10 a.m. Tuesday, May 10, following reports that a woman had been attacked.
Witnesses to the scene said several gunmen visited an apartment building after the attack and that a woman was “stabbed in the face” before a suspect escaped from the scene “armed with a knife”.

Police are asking anyone with information about the incident to contact them at 101.
A PSNI spokesman said: “Police witnessed an attack on a woman in the Falls Road area of Belfast at around 1:10 a.m. this morning (Tuesday, May 10).
“The woman received facial injuries.
“An investigation into this incident is currently underway and we urge anyone with any information to contact the police on 101, citing serial number 65 of 10/05/22. A report can also be made through the online reporting form at www.psni.police.uk/ makeareport. Alternatively, the information may be provided to Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111 or online at www.crimestoppers-uk. ”
