Ibora James, known to millions as @BowelBabe, revealed that she gave her husband the blessing to “move forward” after her death.

The 40-year-old podcast host, You and Me, announced earlier this week that doctors did not know how long she would have to live and that her active treatment had stopped as she moved to a hospice at home.

The mother of two has set up a fund for life-saving cancer research and to support campaigns to raise awareness about bowel cancer. He has raised more than £ 3 million since launching on Monday.

She said: “It was disgusting to tell my children.

“We had a series of emotional conversations that escalated very quickly from supportive care to end-of-life care. My husband Sebastian was amazing, he dumped everything and is with me 24/7. “

“I don’t think I’ve ever seen my husband so emotional; but now he suddenly realized the enormity of it. “

James also said she wanted her husband, Sebastian Bowen, whom she married in 2008, to remarry after her death.

She continued: “I gave him strict instructions: I want him to move on. He is a handsome man, I say to myself: “Do not walk, do not marry a prostitute, find someone else who can make you laugh, as we did [together]”

Her story, which won the support of millions of people around the world, also caught the attention of the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge, who said Wednesday night that their thoughts were with her and her family.

The couple also donated to the James Fund.

In a personal tweet written by William and Kate, they said: “From time to time, someone conquers the heart of the nation with his passion for life and his persistent desire to give back to society.

“@Bowelbabe is one of those special people. Her tireless efforts to raise awareness about bowel cancer and end the stigma of treatment are inspiring.

“We are so sad to hear her recent update, but we are happy to support @bowelbabef, which will benefit @royalmarsdenNHS among others.

“Deborah, our thoughts are with you, your family and your friends. Thank you for giving hope to so many people living with cancer. TOILET. “

James, who was diagnosed with incurable bowel cancer in 2016, documented her cancer experience using the nickname @BowelBabe, inspiring millions of people.

On Monday, she wrote a heartbreaking Instagram post revealing that “no one knows how much time I have left.”

In a statement to her supporters, she said “her body does not play with a ball” and has now been transferred to a hospice for home care.

She wrote: “My active care has stopped and I am now transferred to a hospice at home, with my amazing family around me, and the focus is on making sure I’m not in pain and spending time with them.

“No one knows how much time I have left, but I am not able to walk, I sleep most days and most of the things I took for granted are incredible dreams. I know we haven’t left a stone unturned. “

Along with her post, Deborah announced the Bowelbabe Cancer Research Fund, which she originally hoped to raise £ 250,000.

Within hours, the total exceeded the target and currently amounts to more than 3 million British pounds.
