Now, nine months later, they have publicly identified the killer of Crystal Turner, 38, and her new bride, Kaylan Schulte, 24, of Utah.
Adam Pinkusevich has admitted to killing the two women before his death, according to a statement from the Grand County Sheriff’s Office.

According to cops, the suspect worked in the same McDonald’s store as Turner. The two women were shot dead.
They were last seen at a watering hole in Moab, Utah.
Their bodies were found by a family friend last August 18th, two after they were reported missing in the southern Mesa region of La Sal. Pinkusevic was also in the area.
Cops say Pinkusevic fled the country after the killings. Investigators said they revealed his name because he confessed to a “third party” and the confession was recognized as legal.

He told his confessor details that had not been made public. The motive for the killings has not been revealed, but Pinkusiewicz has long been considered a person of interest.
Investigators say he was homeless and led a “minibus lifestyle.”
“If nothing else, it will be a family closure,” said Grand County Sheriff Stephen White.

The killings were originally linked to Petito’s disappearance, until she was found dead last September. The 22-year-old Long Island woman and her fiancé Brian Landry were in the area during their doomed trip across the country.
In January, the FBI said there was no connection between the killings.
Schulte’s father was “excited” that the case had been solved.
