A 15-year-old girl who has been missing for more than two weeks has been found. Maddie Thomas disappeared from her home in the Southmid area of Bristol on Tuesday (April 26th), and officials said they believed she was likely to be with a man.
Officials initially treated her disappearance as a case of missing persons, and Avon and Somerset police made numerous public calls to find her. In an update released on Wednesday afternoon (May 11th), the forces said they no longer treated her case as an investigation into a missing person, but as the abduction of a child.
At 12:45 a.m. today, Thursday, May 12, officers found Maddie at an address in Bristol. Three men on the property have been arrested on suspicion of kidnapping a child.
