Ryan Nugent-Hopkins moved up to center the second line between Evander Kane and Zach Hyman, while Josh Archibald and Jesse Puluyarvi worked on the third line with Ryan McLeod at center. Warren Voegel, Derek Ryan and Zach Cassian formed the fourth line.

After defender Darnell Nurse was penalized for game 6, Cody Ceci skated in the top pair of the team with Brett Kulak in defense. Duncan Keith is skating with Evan Bouchard, while Chris Russell seems to be joining the cast after working with Tyson Barry.
