Minnesota Wild Cam Talbot starts Game 6 St. Louis Blues

Faced with elimination in game 6, Minnesota Wild turned to goalkeeper Kam Talbot to keep his season alive as he was ready to start tonight.

Currently 3-2 in their first round series against St. Louis Blues, Talbot was the first goalkeeper off the ice of this morning’s skating, while Marc-Andre Flory stayed on the ice shooting.

The 34-year-old has not played since April 28, as Flory was the main player in the playoffs. In 49 appearances in the regular season, Talbot made 32-12-4 with 0.911 percent of saves and 2.76 goals against the average.

In his five playoff starts this year, Fleury has a .909 save percentage and 3.04 GAA.
