A total lunar eclipse on Sunday night
Be sure to search on Sunday night, you can catch one of the most anticipated sky-watching events of the year, the bloody moon.
A bloody moon occurs when a full moon is in a total lunar eclipse, which turns the moon into a reddish-orange color.
The name of the super flower refers to the fact that it occurs in the spring.
(This is called a beaver eclipse if it occurs in the fall.)
The impending lunar eclipse is the first total lunar eclipse in North America in two years.
The eclipse will last just over 5 hours, starting around 10:30 a.m. over Ontario and ending early Monday morning.
