3 shots outside the Milwaukee Bucks game. Hours later, another 17 were shot at several intersections

Ten people were detained during the shooting in the city center, and nine firearms were found, according to Milwaukee Police Captain Warren Allen.

The 17 people killed ranged in age from 15 to 47, Alan said.

Two men, aged 26 and 29, and a 16-year-old girl were injured in the shooting near the arena, according to Alan. Everyone is expected to survive, he said.

“There was a 19-year-old man detained in connection with this incident,” Alan said. “The charges are yet to be reviewed by the Milwaukee County Attorney’s Office.”

The incident happened around 9:12 pm near the intersection of Martin Luther King, Jr. Drive and Highland Avenue, about a block from Bucks’ home court at the Fiserv Forum.

Police did not reveal the names of the people involved or the possible motives.

Bucks lost to the Celtics on Friday night – 108-95 – forcing a seventh game on Sunday to determine who will play Miami in the Eastern Conference finals.
