A man is stabbed in a mall as police raid three suspects in an assassination attempt

Two teenagers were arrested after a man was stabbed in the stomach at a Welsh mall in the early hours of Saturday. His injuries are said to be life-threatening.

The 32-year-old victim was reportedly walking around Castle Court in Caerphilly with a 29-year-old woman when she was allegedly approached by a group of people and attacked. The man was stabbed in the attack and the woman was wounded in the head.

Guent police say a man and two teenagers have been arrested on suspicion of attempted murder. A 27-year-old man and a boy and a girl, both 17 years old, are currently being held by police.

Employees were called to Castle Court Mall around 1:25 a.m. this Saturday, May 14, to report knife stabbing. Both victims are believed to be from Caerphilly. Both were taken to Cardiff University Hospital in Wales, where police said the man was being treated for “life-threatening injuries”. The woman’s injuries were described as “life-threatening”.

Police said they would like to speak to anyone who was in the area between 1 a.m. and 1:30 a.m. this morning, or anyone who has information that could help the investigation.
