Naga Manchetti was angry with his Charlie State during the BBC’s Saturday breakfast while a segment was broadcast, but he didn’t seem to know he was live on TV.
The 47-year-old TV journalist directed her anger at her colleague, 59, who insisted he “ignore” her before ordering a member of the production team to “catch” him.
Her breakdown began when he told a guest they could “relax their coffee” while the helmet-dressed couple filmed a live bike ride at Salford Quays.
Oh! Naga Manchetti was angry with his Charlie State at the BBC’s Saturday breakfast while a segment aired, but he didn’t seem to know he was live on TV
But she soon joined in: “Well, no, Mr. State. You have to go back to the studio. He ignores me … again!
He could be heard saying, “Again, ignoring me! Can anyone just go out and get it. Please. Look … look at this. Ridiculous. Seriously, we have an hour and a half to air. Can anyone come out and pick it up?
Addressing the audience facing the camera, Naga said: “I will find someone to bring Mr. State back to the studio. He will return, believe me.
Not impressed: the 47-year-old broadcast journalist directed her anger at her colleague, 59, insisting that he “ignored” her before ordering a member of the production team to “catch” him.
Oh dear: Her breakdown began when he told a guest they could “have a coffee” while the helmet-clad couple filmed a live cycling track at Salford Quays
Angry: But she soon joined in: “Well, no, Mr. State. You have to go back to the studio. He ignores me … again!
The BBC did not immediately respond to MailOnline for comment.
This comes just days after she accidentally said that Prime Minister Boris Johnson had “spent his first night in prison”, which means Boris Becker.
The former Strictly star wrongly said that the Prime Minister spent one night in prison as part of the morning bulletin – given the former Wimbledon champion Becker.
Ignorant: He could be heard saying, “Again, ignoring me! Can anyone just go out and get it. Please. Look … look at this. Ridiculous. Seriously, we have an hour and a half to air. Can anyone come out and pick it up?
Furious: Addressing the audience, once facing the camera, Naga said: “I will find someone to bring Mr. State back to the studio. He will return, believe me
She said: “Three-time Wimbledon champion Boris Johnson has spent his first night in prison.
“He was sentenced to two and a half years in prison for evading property to avoid paying debts.”
She was released from the BBC’s bias investigation in 2019 by then-CEO Tony Hall.
The news reader criticized President Donald Trump’s comments, telling black women in Congress to “go back to where they came from.”
She had noted on the breakfast show that when she heard the phrase addressed to her, she was “embedded in racism.”
After an initial investigation found she had broken the rules, Tony intervened and dismissed the charge.
