Ottawa Weather: Another scorch before it starts to rain

Another record high temperature is in the forecast for Ottawa, but lower temperatures and rain are coming.

Partly cloudy weather is expected on Saturday. At night, expect partly cloudy skies with a low temperature of 17 C – about 10 degrees warmer than typical for this time of year.

The clouds are moving on Sunday, which brings a 60% chance of precipitation and a risk of a thunderstorm. The maximum temperature on Sunday is 22 C, with a humidity of 28. Ottawa saw just under 9 mm of rain in May. The ban on open fire remains in force.

Monday’s forecast is cloudy with a 60 percent chance of precipitation and a maximum temperature of 21 degrees.

On Tuesday there may be precipitation with a maximum of 18 degrees, in line with the average for the season.

Sunshine returns to Wednesday’s forecast.
