Barnet’s stabbing: Three arrested after killing a man in north London

Three people have been arrested after a 30-year-old man was stabbed to death in North London on Wednesday morning.

Two men, aged 33 and 25, and a woman, aged 24, were arrested on suspicion of murder on Saturday (May 14th). The men remain in custody while the woman is released on bail until mid-June.

Officers were called to the scene at an apartment near Wheatstone High Road in Barnet just before 3 a.m. and found the victim, named by police as Olsie Cook, with stab wounds.

Despite the efforts of paramedics, his life could not be saved and he was later pronounced dead on the spot.

Employees are in contact with Olsie’s family and are supporting them, police said.

A 35-year-old man, who was initially arrested in connection with the fatal stabbing, was later released without further action.

Neighbors in the green northern suburbs of London spoke of their shock after the incident.

One told Standard: “The first thing we learned about this was that dozens of police officers arrived. We heard shouts and ambulances arrived. It is sleepy here and the neighborhood is quite well-developed. It’s a complete shock. “

Another said: “Such things never happen here. It’s so weird. I saw the police arrive, I had no idea it was a murder. “
