After six games in a tense, tense series that is likely to leave a mark on both teams, the Celtics have turned match 7 of those semifinals of the conference against Bucks into a party.
Shooting a three-pointer at one end and destroying Milwaukee star Janice Adetokunmpo at the other, the Celtics won 109-81 at TD Garden Sunday and will face the Heat in the Eastern Conference finals. Match 1 is in Miami on Tuesday.
Heath will have a home advantage in this series, but Milwaukee’s decision on the last day of the regular season that it doesn’t matter has turned out to be wrong, as an irritated, boisterous crowd pushes Boston through this whole robbery.
Grant Williams had a game in his career for the Celtics, scoring seven 3 points and scoring 27 points. Jason Tatum added 23, but the most important segment of the game happened to him on the bench after scoring his fourth foul at 7:44 until the end of the third quarter. Instead of falling apart, Boston added five points to their lead for the rest of the period, and Milwaukee never had a chance again.
