The body found in a village in Leicestershire is believed to be a man who has been reported missing. Police found the body at Donington Castle on Saturday, May 14.
Officials believe they have found the body of a missing Derbyshire man, Edward Hill. Forces called for public help while searching for the 52-year-old a week ago.
Mr Hill has reportedly disappeared from his home on Main Street, Ingleby, near Repton, and was last seen at 11.30pm on Friday, May 6, NottinghamshireLive reports. Police released a statement after a search.

A spokesman for the force said: “Officers have found a body believed to be that of missing Edward Hill at Donington Castle yesterday afternoon (May 14th). His family has been notified and our thoughts are with them.
“A medical file is being prepared. Thank you to everyone who shared our call.”
People shared their condolences after the discovery of Mr. Hill’s body yesterday. One responded to a police statement by saying, “Rest in peace, Eddie.
“You were an amazing neighbor, we will miss you. We are ruined and our thoughts and prayers are with your family and friends.”
Another commented: “So much, very sad. A top person who will be missed so much.”
One social media user also said of the discovery: “Such a sad result. Condolences to his family and friends.”
