New suspects have been released while stabbing a Toronto subway station

Investigators have released new surveillance footage of two suspects wanted after a man was stabbed several times in and around Main Street Subway Station last Friday night.

Police said they were called to the station north of Danforth Avenue at 6:49 p.m. on May 13, where they found a 23-year-old man suffering multiple stab wounds.

Investigators say the victim was leaving the Maine Street station when two men armed with knives chased him back to the station.

He was stabbed at least once at the station and then fled to the street, where the two suspects chased and stabbed him several times.

Emergency teams found the victim seriously injured outside the station and took him to a trauma center for treatment.

He remains in critical condition in hospital.

The suspects were last seen fleeing south to Danforth Avenue.

The first suspect was described as a man in his 20s with an athletic build. He has short dreadlocks, thick eyebrows and a full beard. There are tattoos on the left and right forearms.

He was last seen wearing a black T-shirt, a black bag, a blue surgical mask, black jeans and black and purple basketball shoes.

The second suspect is described as a man in his early 20s, six feet tall with a medium build. He has grains and a full beard.

He was last seen wearing a black sweater with a large white logo on the front, dark gray shorts and gray, purple and black basketball shoes.
