The crash injured three people and the main road in Kitchener was partially closed on Sunday afternoon.
Around 3:30 p.m., Waterloo Regional Police tweeted about a collision on Huron Road on Parkvale Drive.
Police said two vehicles were involved and one was overturned.
The driver of the overturned vehicle was airlifted to a hospital outside the region, and the passenger and driver of the other vehicle were taken to a local hospital. The extent of their injuries is unknown as of Sunday afternoon.
Huron is expected to be locked in both directions between Strasbourg Road and Featherstone Street for several hours for investigation.
Drivers and residents are urged to avoid the area.
