Firefighters, police and paramedics are on the scene of a major explosion at a building in Skelmersdale.
Emergency services were called shortly after 6pm at the site of the Tanfields for reports of an incident reportedly involving several apartments.
Lancashire Fire posted an update on its website to say that the crews were at the scene and working to secure it.
