The defender, who first led Netflix’s partnership with Marvel, is back in a new Disney Plus series.
Variety reports that Matt Corman (The Brave, Deck the Halls) and Chris Ord (The Enemy Within) have signed to write a new series, Daredevil, which could deepen what Matt Murdoch has done since Netflix’s Daredevil show. came the end of 2018. The news comes after Charlie Cox reprized his role as Daredevil in Spider-Man: No Way Home and all of Marvel’s Netflix shows migrated to Disney Plus earlier this year. Although there is currently no information on whether this new series will deal directly with the events of the Netflix series, it is logical that it will give Vincent D’Onofrio revenge for his role as Kingpin in Disney Plus’ Hawkeye.
Now that the multiverse has been breached, Marvel is able to easily weave all its recent stories into the MCU without fuss or hassle. The new Daredevil series raises the obvious question of whether Marvel is considering reviving all of Netflix’s old projects and who might return.
