Here is today’s answer to Wordle plus helpful advice.

It’s Thursday – again. No surprise there. Thursday usually falls shortly after Wednesday and we just had one of them. It will be Friday soon. It will soon be the weekend and then another week and then another Thursday.
Wordle will be with us along the way, leaving just over six years of 5-letter answers for the daily word puzzle game. You’re kind of crazy to think about!
Wordle officially launched last October, but Wordle’s first word of the day was actually released on June 19, 2021, the day before my 40th birthday. The first answer to Wordle # 1 was “cigarette”.
This means that we actually have exactly one month left from the anniversary of the game (and only about one month from my 41st birthday!) On June 19, 2022.
Anyway, today we are on Wordle # 334. Let’s look at the hint and answer, right?

Naturally, this post has spoilers for the answer and a hint of the word of the day in Wordle. A spoiler is a hint. A spoiler is the answer. That makes two or two spoilers! Ah ha ha!

Today’s answer to Wordle.

My first guess is “great starting word” according to Wordle (if it’s still lower than the tap, as always). The flash usually reduces possible solutions to 98, but today it reduces them to 26.
Plant was a “solid choice” and reduced the possible solutions to just nine, but Wordle Bot didn’t sound very enthusiastic when he told me that. The statement was simply “quite good”, despite reducing the possible solutions to only two. I guess class would be better – obviously in retrospect! – but I tried to eliminate the letters as much as possible and a word with a double “c” seemed like a bad idea.
At that moment, without the knowledge of your humble narrator, there were only two solutions left, and I guessed wrong. Slash was “no luck, but a smart guess” and narrowed my remaining decisions to just one thing: Glass.
Which, by the way, is a really horrible film by M. Knight Shamalan. I really liked Unbreakable and I thought Split was pretty good too, but boy, oh boy, he fucked up the third movie of this kind of trilogy. Just a huge pass.
