Professional gravel cyclist Colin Strickland issued a statement Friday afternoon in response to the arrest warrant for Caitlin Armstrong, who faces charges of murdering Mo Wilson’s death on May 11.
Strickland tried to clarify his relationship with both Armstrong and Wilson, saying he had a brief romantic relationship with Wilson in October 2021, which has since become “platonic and professional.”
According to the statement, Strickland’s relationship with Wilson came during the severance of his relationship with Armstrong, but Strickland and Armstrong resumed their relationship later, “reconciled and re-established our relationship.”
“There is no way I can adequately express the regret and torture I feel for my closeness to this horrific crime,” Strickland said in a statement.
