Cowley Road LTN crashed on its first day standing

A chair that was set up today as part of Cowley Road’s low-traffic neighborhood (LTN) scheme has already been torn down.

It was created as part of a six-month experiment in the Divinity Road, St Clement’s and St Mary areas to limit traffic on certain roads in the area.

Amir Steve Ali, who ran as an independent candidate for St. Clements in the recent local elections, shared a photo of the stand, which is no longer standing and is placed in one of the neighboring seeders.

He was standing on Temple Street, on Cowley Road, next to Nando.

As for why this may have happened, the local said: “People are angry. The only time people get angry is when people feel that they have been wronged.

“People think they are choosing not to take action on their own. The traffic situation is a complete nightmare at the moment.

“But this is not the right way to do things. You have to solve the problems by acting according to the rules.
