In Philadelphia, outside Lincoln Financial Field, stands a statue commemorating the moment that led to the Eagles’ first and only victory in the Super Bowl.
According to numerous reports, one of the bronze men above will come to the Indianapolis Colts as a reserve.
Colts are working to add QB veteran Nick Falls, sources said. Nothing has been done yet, but there is a chance it will come next week. It makes a lot of sense on both sides. He will support new incumbent Matt Ryan.

There will be Colts fans who don’t like how things have turned out, but here’s what an all-in looks like for a football team led by Chris Ballard. The Colts brought in the best pass they’ve had in years, the best quarterback they’ve had since Andrew Luck retired and bet on a former defender of the year as a cornerback, they’ve filled all the holes they had in the draft and now they’re looking to add a legitimate backup to the most important position in the game. They clearly believe that the time has come to fight.
What this means for Sam Elinger can be guessed. They believed in Ellinger enough to make him the main backup of the team before the season, a move that in retrospect seems to be ready to lose many games if Carson Wentz misses most of the season. All indications are that the team likes Ehlinger and what he wears, so we’ll see if they wear three quarterbacks in the regular season.
The details of the contract will be interesting for some people, I just don’t care, pay him at least a vet, pay him $ 20 million with 15 invalid years – win the Super Bowl and suddenly no one will care. Strange how this happens.
