ST. LOUIS (AP) – St. Louis Blues goalkeeper Jordan Binington has left Game 3 of the second round against Colorado after clashing with Avalanche striker Nazem Kadri 6:45 in the first period on Saturday night.
Kadri was attacking the St. Louis net when he skated with blue defender Calais Rosen.
Binington stayed on his knees for a few minutes and was examined by the Blues coach Ray Barryl before heading to the locker room.
Binington were 4-1 in five starts after the season with 1.75 goals against average and had stopped all three shots he faced in Game 3.
Ville Husso replaced him, appearing for the first time since Game 3 of the first round of the team against Minnesota. Husso made 1-2 with 3.02 GAA in three starts this postseason.
