The government offices of PEI will be closed on Monday, May 23, for Victoria Day.
But many companies and services will remain open.
Here is a list of what is open and closed.
- Schools are closed.
- COVID-19 testing clinics in Charlottetown, Slimon Park, Montague and O’Leary have closed.
- Canada Post will not have a delivery service.
- Provincial and federal government offices are closed.
- Municipal services are closed.
- The island’s waste management will have regular removals.
- Sobeys stores are open regularly.
- Atlantic Superstores are open regularly.
- Co-op and Foodland stores are open regularly, except for Foodland Charlottetown, which is open from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m.
- Murphy’s Pharmacy and Food Market on Queen Street is open from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m.
- Walmart operates regularly.
- The PEI Commission on Alcohol Control and Cannabis Stores is open regularly.
- Royal Crossing is open from 09:30 until 17:00
- The Confederation Court Mall is closed, but the Shoppers Drug Mart is open from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.
- The Summerside County Fair Mall is open from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.
- T3 Transit works according to its usual schedule.
- PEI Public libraries are closed.
