A man died after being bitten by a dog and received a cardiac arrest.
Paramedics and police attended the Holt Road incident in Wrexham on Monday. However, North Wales police confirmed that a 62-year-old man was pronounced dead at the scene after he could not be saved, North Wales Live reported.
A police spokesman said: “At 11.44 today (May 23) we responded to a request to be present at Holt Road, Wrexham to help the ambulance crew at the scene.

They added: “The Welsh ambulance reported that a 62-year-old man was under cardiac arrest after being bitten by a dog on the property. Unfortunately, despite all the efforts of paramedics, the man was pronounced dead at the scene.
“The man’s close relatives have been informed and our investigation into the incident continues.” They added: “Family members have asked for their privacy to be respected at the moment.
“The dog must have been detained on the property and euthanized by a veterinarian at the scene. Other dogs kept on the property have been removed by trained dog handlers and will be temporarily placed in a kennel while the investigation continues. “
