Catherine Schwarzenegger gave birth to her second child and Chris Pratt, the actor’s third, on Saturday.
“We are so excited to announce the birth of our second daughter, Eloise Christina Schwarzenegger Pratt,” Pratt, 42, said on Instagram on Sunday.
“Mom and baby are doing well. We feel more than blessed and grateful. With love, Catherine and Chris. ”
In December 2021, news emerged that the 32-year-old author of The Gift of Forgiveness was pregnant with a baby.
Until the then-expecting star came out with an exposed baby bump the same month, she did not speak publicly about her pregnancy until March.
“Preggo moms tell me if you can only drink ice cold water,” Arnold Schwarzenegger’s daughter signed to an Instagram video at the time.
Catherine was in the same way personally about her pregnancy with her 1-year-old daughter Laila.
After the arrival of the little one in August 2020, the author of “Maverick and I” and Pratt kept Laila’s face away from social media.
Catherine explained this decision to Hoda Cott during her participation in the show “Today” in March 2021, saying: “I did not grow up with social media at all. “I feel like we share so much in today’s world.”

The Los Angeles native added: “I think one of the greatest gifts my parents have ever given me and my siblings is the gift of solitude and a truly normal upbringing or the most normal upbringing possible.
“We had a really normal and magical childhood and we were allowed to be our own people and have our own identity and choose to get into whatever form of publicity we want when we feel comfortable.”
Catherine called the experience an “amazing” gift from Arnold, 74, and her mother, Maria Shriver.

Pratt and his ex-wife Anna Faris, on the other hand, have not hidden their 9-year-old son Jack from their followers on social media.
The former couple, who were married from 2009 to 2018, are currently Jack’s parents.
“Chris and I are working very hard,” Faris, 45, told Entertainment Tonight in January 2019. It’s kind of like the idea of a long game and making sure Jack is really happy, which makes us really happy. “
The Jurassic World star continued with Catherine in 2018 and they married in June of the following year.
The author of “Rock What You’ve Got” is a “wonderful” stepmother, Pratt told his Instagram followers in honor of his birthday.
