Tony Thomas from Channel 2 has covered the case from the beginning and is in the courtroom on Monday for sentencing and on Friday when the verdict is read.

Contrary to high odds, Duke, who admitted to killing a popular teacher in the small town of Irwin County, was found not guilty of murder on Friday.

Grinstead’s family told Thomas they were devastated; Prosecutors were challenging as the Duke family and their legal team in the Atlanta area became emotional.
