Two air ambulance helicopters were present at a Holt Road accident earlier today.
A large emergency service was sent to the area with a number of marked and unmarked police vehicles and dog units, along with first-reaction vehicles.
A spokesman for the Welsh Ambulance Service said: “This morning, Monday, 23 May, at 11:33 am, we received a call for emergency medical services in the Holt Road area of Wrexham. We sent three ambulances, two ambulances and a Wales ambulance to the scene.
North Wales police have also been contacted for comment.
The two air ambulances left shortly after 1 pm after landing from Deva Way – with two separate landing sites.
Some police vehicles have left the area and traffic flows more freely on Holt Road after previous queues.
