A 50-year-old man was seriously injured after being stabbed in a Brampton industrial area on Monday afternoon.
Ambulances were called to Glidden Road, Rutherford Road and Kennedy Avenue, at 1:01 p.m.
They arrived to find a man allegedly suffering from multiple stab wounds to his neck and chest.
He was rushed to a life-threatening trauma center in Toronto.
Paramedics said he was conscious when he was loaded into an ambulance.
It has since improved to a stable condition.
Peel Regional Police said they had detained a suspect at the scene.
It is not known what charges will be brought against the suspect.
