A man died in a steam roller crash in Ireland.
The accident with the car on the road works happened in Shankhill in Ko Monahan around 9.45 yesterday.
The driver of the steam roller, a man in his 50s, was pronounced dead at the scene in Smithboro.
The man’s body was taken to the Mortuary of the Virgin Mary from Lourdes in Drogheda, where a pathological examination will be performed.
The scene has been reserved for technical expertise by forensic investigators of the Garda clash.
Gardai is urging witnesses to appear and those who have camera footage, including a video camera, to provide it.
