Corus Entertainment stopped the program on Tuesday due to complaints that came to light after a recent video posted on Twitter by Valentine last weekend.
The video opened the door to negative comments about the famous radio personality John Deringer from many fellow men and women.
Valentine never mentions it in the video.
Her video, “It’s Never Wrong Time to Do the Right Thing,” deals with the harassment and gender inequality she’s undertaken over the years in such a glamorous media world.
She had a particularly rough ride on the radio.
Some of the insults that come her way include comments about her appearance, age and even her pregnancy.
She sat and took it for years because she needed her job, and as she says in the video, the women who spoke were often fired.

Valentine is best known for her 23 years at Breakfast Television with CITY-TV.
She later co-hosted Derringer In The Morning on Q107, 2017-19.
According to what Valentine published, the complaint from colleagues who evaporated at the radio studio in Q-107 helped her return to a job she did not want as a presenter at Global News Toronto.
Since she was told years ago at Global that her boss didn’t consider her a serious enough journalist, Valentine said she was almost certain she was being moved so she could be fired.

And that’s exactly what happened.
As long as Valentine doesn’t name names, the public arena, which is Twitter, wasted no time in identifying her tormentor in Q107 as John Deringer.

Deringer did not respond to a request for comment.

Meanwhile, many other women (and men) in the media have shown their support for Valentine on social media.
Toronto Mike (torontomike.com) wrote about the accusations against Deringer on Sunday, citing former Q107 radio personality Jackie Delaney, who said: “Working with John Deringer was one of the things that allowed me to leave the radio completely” and called it the worst experience that she had on the radio.
Delaney posted on his Facebook page, mentioning his own “abuse of the hands of Toronto Q107 morning man John Deringer” and making it clear that management has known about the Deringer problem for years.
“So, if John Deringer airs tomorrow morning on Q107 Toronto, they will have to make some important explanations, because this weekend’s revelations will not surprise anyone. she publishes.

“Your move, Corus!”
Derringer’s former colleague Andrea Roose wrote on Twitter: “I told everyone I could about my experiences with JD and everyone was outraged that someone could get away with treating another human being the way treated me. I can’t even imagine talking to a dog the way he talked to me … ”
Asked for comment, a spokesman for Q107 sent this statement:
“We are aware that Ms Valentine has expressed concerns about the time she has spent in the television industry, including the time she has spent with us.
“Any concerns about the experience of employees are of paramount importance to us.
“A few years ago, Mrs Valentine expressed some concerns, and we took immediate action to review at the time. A lawsuit is also under way with the Canadian Commission on Human Rights. We had mediation talks with her, responded to the proceedings and are waiting for the next steps to be determined.
“We take these issues seriously and look forward to a solution.”
By Tuesday, statement Q107 had been amended to indicate that new information had been received on concerns at the station’s workplace.
“We referred them to our ethics and behavior team and we did it detains Rachel Turnpen of Turnpenney Milne LLP for conducting an external investigation. Going into effect immediately, the show, Derringer in the Morning, will be suspended pending the completion of the investigation.
Deringer is the morning man of Q107 for 21 years, and in November he made his 5000th show.
