Willow gets a new trailer for Star Wars

Willow’s first trailer, the upcoming Disney + fantasy series, was shown at Star Wars Celebration 2022.

The Disney + series is being produced by Ron Howard and will again include Warwick Davis as Willow Ughgood, a dwarf and wizard from Nelwin. It was confirmed during last year’s Disney Plus Day that Willow will debut this November, so you won’t have to wait long.

The upcoming sequel takes place 20 years after the original 1988 film Willow, on which it is based. In the original story, an ambitious wizard and a small child destroy an evil queen and banish the forces of darkness. Now the new series will focus on three new heroines who leave their kingdoms in search of the famous wizard Willow.

Joan Wally will reprise her role as Sorcha with newcomers Ruby Cruz, who plays Keith Sorcha, Erin Keliman, who plays Jade, Keith’s best friend, who grew up as an orphan in the castle and is trying to become a knight, and Eli Bamber who plays Dove – a kitchen maid in love with Keith’s brother. In addition, the real-life daughter of Warwick Davis, Annabel, will play Willow’s daughter.

Willow will be executive producer on Jonathan Casdan, Ron Howard, Wendy Merrickle, Kathleen Kennedy and Michelle Raven.

Willow will head to Disney + on November 30, 2022.
