Work is underway to dredge the accumulated gravel and debris from the head of Lake Quiddie See in St. John’s.
Coady Construction and Excavating Limited will remove mud, gravel and debris from the lake area near the Carnell and Clancey roads. The city says the work will help reduce the impact on the recreational boat on the lake.
Pedestrians using the popular footpath will be diverted to the sidewalk on Carnell Drive while you work. Vehicle traffic will not be affected, although people in the area can expect some interruptions while work continues.
The cleaning work is expected to be completed by mid-June.
