Live: comments and updates on F1 Monaco GP – FP1 & FP2 Live text

Recently from the Spanish Grand Prix, the action in Formula 1 continues with the Monaco Grand Prix.

With the change of form to the traditional racing weekend in the principality, the trainings were moved to Friday to comply with the regular schedule of other competitions, instead of training on Thursday before the weekend.

Max Verstappen is the new leader in the Formula One World Championship after winning the Spanish Grand Prix, as Charles Leclerc was forced to step down from the dominant lead in the race due to a breakdown in the MGU-H and the turbo with his Ferrari.

The opening session of the Monaco GP starts at 13.00 BST (14.00 local time), followed by a second training session which starts at 16.00 BST (17.00 local time).
