Sony has announced a summer gameplay – showing upcoming games for the PlayStation 5 and PlayStation VR2 – and it’s coming very soon, on Thursday, June 2nd.
The State of Play will air in just under half an hour, starting at 15:00 Pacific / 18:00 East / 23:00 UK (this is June 3 at 8:00 AEST).
The show promises revelations from third-party Sony partners and “a look at several games under development for the PlayStation VR2.” It doesn’t sound like the PlayStation exclusives on the first hand will be a huge part of this particular broadcast.

It is worth noting that Sony has recently distinguished between its in-game broadcasts – shorter broadcasts, with messages often grouped by topic – and its PlayStation Showcase event.
The digital showcase replaced what was used for the Sony E3 personal conference, usually the biggest and most remarkable revelation of upcoming games and messages. Last year, Sony waited until September for its full showcase, which includes the first gameplay of God of War: Ragnarok, jokes about the games of Insomniac’s Spider-Man 2 and Wolverine, a remake of Knights of the Old Republic and many others.
