Reigate school summary while armed police respond to “threatening call”

Reigate School was locked today (Friday, May 27) by armed police sent to the scene after receiving a threatening call from a person.

Surrey police confirmed that they were present at the scene, saying: “Armed officers were present – nothing alarming was found and the students were sent home. The inquiries continue and we would like to thank the students, parents and staff for their cooperation.”

Pendleton Road School is a mixed high school between the ages of 11 and 16 with academy status. He is part of the Greensand Multi-Academy Trust. Today is the last school day before half a semester next week.
