A clock for a strong thunderstorm has been released for central NB

Environment Canada has released hours of severe thunderstorms for the central parts of the province on Saturday night.

Strong thunderstorms can develop in the Fredericton and Miramichi regions with the potential for torrential rains and strong winds. The meteorological service says precipitation of 25 millimeters per hour and gusts of 90 kilometers per hour are possible.

“Heavy rains can cause sudden floods and accumulation of water on the roads. Lightning kills and injures Canadians every year. Environment Canada said in a statement.
