Anneliese Dodds: Stella Crisis is wrong

Ms Crisis, a Walthamstow MP and passionate fighter for women and mothers, told The Telegraph that she believes some women are born with penises.

“But they are already women and I respect that,” she added in an exclusive interview with the newspaper.

She acknowledged that “biological sex is real”, but added that this was not “the end of the conversation”.

“I am someone who would say that a trans woman is an adult,” said Ms. Crisis.

When Ms. Dodds showed up at Sophie Ridge on Sunday and was asked if she agreed with her colleague, she said unequivocally no. In March, the chairman of the Labor Party entered BBC Women’s Hour and struggled when asked to identify a woman.

Her reluctance to respond then, as well as attempts to divert the interviewer, were criticized by people on both sides of the debate. This infuriated many and reassured few, including J. K. Rowling, the author of Harry Potter, who does not support the self-identification of trans people.
