Waterloo Regional Police are looking for a suspect after the Kitchener shooting.
In a tweet posted just before 10 a.m. Sunday, police said officers were in the Park Street and Glasgow Street area of Kitchener for reports of gunfire.
An hour later, police tweeted that investigators had confirmed that there had been a shooting in the area.
No casualties were reported.

A resident of the area, who spoke to CTV News in front of a camera but did not want to be named, called the incident “a little annoying”.
“It’s shocking to hear about shooting in the street,” he said, adding that he had lived there for 13 years. “We haven’t heard anything like this before.”
“The fact that there is such a strong police presence suggests that there is an appropriate response,” he said. “And I hope that will be enough to ensure that it doesn’t happen again.”
Police said the suspect fled the area in a silver or gray Toyota car.
Anyone with information is asked to call the police or Crime Stoppers.
