Paul Pelosi, 82, was arrested at 11:44 p.m. on Saturday and charged with drunk driving and driving with a blood alcohol content of 0.08% or more, the public reservations report said. Both charges are crimes.
TMZ was the first to announce the arrest.
The bail is set at $ 5,000, according to the booking report, and records show he was released Sunday morning.
CNN contacted the Napa County Sheriff’s Office for further details.
“The spokesman will not comment on this personal issue, which happened while she was on the East Coast,” said Drew Hamill, a spokesman for Pelosi.
