The housing crisis has made hiring as a family more difficult and seems to be getting worse this week. More than 21,800 households are currently on the Cornwall Homechoice registry.
CornwallLive previously told the stories of families who were evicted from their private rent and, despite their middle-income status, still had to turn to the council for help. Many explain that what used to cost £ 750 a month can cost more than £ 1,000.
